How to get to Kasol Kheerganga Trek –
If you have your own vehicle, you can travel to Kotgaon, which is the basecamp of the trek.
If you are not traveling by your vehicle, you can take a bus from Delhi to Dehradun, which is well connected with Koregaon.
The trek also starts from Sankri which is around 180 km away from Dehradun. You can hire a taxi or take a local bus to reach there from Dehradun. The drive is very beautiful besides the Riven Tons.
On the top, you’ll witness the amazing views of clear skies and serene beauty of the Singtur Range. The mountains look breathtaking from the Kedarnath peak at 12850 ft height.
The trek begins from Sankri (6400 ft). From there you’ll trek to Juda Ka Tal (9050 ft). From there you’ll reach Kedarkantha Base Camp (11200 ft). Climb to Kedarkantha peak at 12500 ft, which is the maximum height of the entire trek.
Trekking to Kedarkantha doesn’t require any special fitness skills. If you exercise on a regular basis, you won’t feel tiresome while walking on the trail. But if you are suffered from heart problems or Asthma, you must not go there.

The trek is open around the year so any time is the best time to go for Kedarkantha trekking. But the best time to go is from December to February. During this time the trail is covered with snow, which adds more fun to the trip.
